We are pleased to inform the community that a drainage cleaning operation was successfully carried out today to address ongoing hygiene and health concerns in our neighborhood.
The Cleanup Operation
The drain located between Jalan Cekap and Jalan Cerdas 1 (specifically the Pasar Pagi and Mamak area) had been severely clogged for some time. This blockage had unfortunately led to stagnant water and the presence of mosquito breeding sites, posing a risk of Dengue to our residents.
- Coordination: Our Assistant Secretary, Mr. Vince, spearheaded the effort by coordinating directly with Alam Flora to ensure a thorough desilting and cleaning process.
- On-Site Support: Our Chairman, Mr. Edward Kee, was also on the scene to monitor the progress and provide necessary assistance throughout the operation.
The drains are now clear, and water flow has been restored.
A Friendly Reminder to All Residents
To ensure our neighborhood stays clean and mosquito-free, we seek your cooperation on the following:
1. Proper Waste Disposal: Please ensure all household waste is bagged securely and placed in the provided bins. Avoid throwing grease or solid waste into the drains.
2. Report Fly-Tipping: Illegal dumping (fly-tipping) is a serious offense that clogs our infrastructure. If you spot anyone dumping trash illegally:
- Report it immediately to any committee member.
- Post an alert in our community WhatsApp group.
- Take a photo if possible (this is highly recommended to help us take further action).
